Hey gang, I've been on the forums for a while but just made an account. This is my review of the l-theanine and phenylpiracetam (carphedron) stack from Liftmode.

After realizing that 800mg of caffeine a day might be a bad thing, I decided to look into some nootropics while concurrently lowering my caffeine intake. This semester I was struggling with a heavy courseload so I looked into some nootropics to improve my ability to intake vast amounts of material at one time.

I read that phenylpiracetam was more effective than piracetam and increased endurance, focus, etc. so I purchased carphedron from Liftmode and l-theanine. The last three days I've been taking 100mg of carphedron and 200 mg of l-theanine twice a day.

I can confirm all the positive benefits of phenylpiracetam and l-theanine. I'm much more focused, rational, and confident. It's fantastic stuff. My workouts are even better--especially when carphedron and caffeine are in my system.

However, I'm worried about the long-term effects of phenylpiracetam. When should I discontinue/re-continue use of it? I don't want to damage my neurotransmitters or dopamine receptors.

Thanks guys. I'm happy to answer any questions you have as well.

I wouldn't use Phenylpiracetam more than twice a week to preserve tolerance and to avoid any burnout. I became what seemed to be permantly tolerant to phenylpiracetams effects. After dosing a few bottles of fish oil over a period of a few weeks I noticed that suddenly Phenylpiracetam is working again. So this leads me to believe it does in fact deplete choline levels. I've always heard about fish oil helping piracetam to work better and never noticed much difference until now where I commited to taking high doses for a period of time in hopes of getting levels back to normal and am surprised how much it brought my phenylpiracetam tolerance down.

L-theanine can be taken as long as you want it, its more of a supplement that gives rather than takes although cycling it would allow you to not become tolerant to the effects. Theres tons of Posts on both of these so you may not get many replies.

I agree with joelski28 - I would not take Phenyl. more than two or three times a week. Awesome supplement, but tolerance develops fast.

I apologize in advance if these are noob questions:

Have you noticed any tolerance issues like this with piracetam?

Also, if you are taking a choline supplement like lecithin or CDP Choline, then what is the value of taking fish oil with phenylpiracetam and piracetam?

Thank you for sharing!
