Hi there,

Just wanted to see if there are any Longecity members in Austin or central Texas? Let me know to get together with likeminded individuals!

From Moderation:

If you'd like to join or start a local chapter, please fill out the Local Chapters Questionnaire. Also update your profile if you haven't already done so.

I'm launching an online meetings chapter using Google Hangouts On Air. This would be a great way to bring together users in close proximity but still too far to meet locally.

Visit these pages for more info on LongeCity's new Online Meeting Chapter (pending approval).

Hi, I live in Cedar Park, my clinic is in Austin. Would love to grab lunch some time. I'm just staring the nootropic journey.

Just signed up today! I'm in the Oak Hill area of Austin. The main thing that drew me here is Nootropics with the intention of expanding
my knowledge of life extension where I am currently a little ignorant but trying to learn.

Another Austinite on board.

I am finding a knowledgeable group here.  This is great.  Don't know much about the whole "unlimited lifespan" idea, however I do know that while I am living mine I want to live it well.

As for being a Longhorn?  Hell yes I am.  I went to school with Ricky and it was a blast.  Both my father and I graduated from The University of Texas.  I bleed orange.  He walked the stage the year of my birth in 76 and I in 98.

The only easy day was yesterday.  Carry on.

I'm a Houstonian myself. It would be refreshing to meet up with more like-minded folks.

Also, I find myself renewing membership here in order to possibly link up with someone who could tide me over on hormone replacement until my next available appointment. I ran out of my AndroGel unexpectedly about two weeks ago and have been dragging ass ever since. I've even tried approaching body builder types(?) who do or would know of anyone that cycles on testosterone. The only feedback I've gotten is two 30-somethings who use injectables weekly for quality of life etc. My case is becoming uncomfortable with hypogonadism and hemochromatosis on board so any suggestions are welcome.

What would be the appropriate Longecity forum for help finding a doctor in Austin, TX?  Not just any doctor, but one who understands nootropics, eugeroics, supplements, kratom, etc. in conjunction with or as a replacement for the typical SSRI/SNRI treatments for depression and anxiety.  I'm a bit overwhelmed with information and tired of self-experimentation.

Finding such could be the basis for forming a local chapter. If you can do that, you can help people find health. Pay attention to the provider of the network as that will ultimately determine what type of care you are likely to receive.

Brainstorm, conejo, deeptrance, odyssey, gricha: One more in Austin here. Just starting to figure out this site, but once I've looked it over a bit more, maybe I'll get a new group started. At worst I'll post a meetup here. Probably a coffeehouse north central. My interest is anxiolytics and adaptogens; not so much long life as a good one.

Hey all.  I'm an Austinite as well.  Did anything end up happening here?

Hi all!  I've started a new meetup group for biohacking specifically focused on longevity.  We're looking exclusively at practical, science-backed strategies for longevity.

https://www.meetup.c...ity-Biohackers/

Our first meetup will be in January or February of 2020 (TBD).  After that, we'll meet up monthly or bi-monthly, and we already have several amazing speakers lined up!
