Hi, new to the site and new to Nootropics. Im willing to give Nootropics a shot and would appreciate all the help I can get from current or past users. Im a full-time college student and would like to have a go to combination of Nootropics that can give me an edge in school to possibly help me focus a bit more and learn the material I'm being taught (lots of math!) and not forget it. Currently I am familiar with piracetam, choline, and another that i just can't remember just now<----see what i mean…lol ANY help would be great.

This thread is a good starting point. If you want to know more about a specific supplement, examine.com is a useful resource, although it doesn't have everything. You should look for a bunch of different sources and PubMed articles before you invest in a substance and put it in your body. That being said, you can spend a whole lot of time studying these things and the underlying mechanisms behind them. I am hesitant to recommend any specific supplements for someone who is just starting out, as everyone is different and what works for you might be very different from what works for me. That being said, piracetam and a choline source (most would agree CDP choline and alpha GPC are the best sources, although they are more pricey than others) is a pretty reliable starting point.
Read at least the first page or two of the thread I linked, and then do some searching around the forum and other sites, and if time and energy permits, try to get into the specific mechanisms of action, and what sorts of things might benefit you the most based on what you can tell about yourself. The brain is really complex, of course, so this is a tall order. Exercise, diet and sleep are the first things to try to optimize. Best of luck!
