Hi,

So I just wanted to ask those who know more than I, about what I should do if anything regarding my current regime. I was tested and have a heterozygous mutation for MTHFR, and elevated Homocysteine levels. I'm 29 years old, and was hoping to know whether or not any changes/deletions/additions would be recommended. Here's the onslaught of pills I'm on:

-Adderall XR: 60mg
-Lamotrigine: 50mg (trying to taper off, as mutation seems to be culprit of mood instability.)
-N-Acetyl Carnitine: 1,000mg
-Acetyl-L-Cysteine: 1,000mg
-Thorne Bio-B12 1x a day
-Thorne B-Complex #6 1x a day
-Integrative Therapeutics Super Milk Thistle: 2x a day
-Thorne 5-Hydroxytryptophan 100mg
-Vitamin D-5000 U
-Jarrow MSM 1x a day
-Omega 3 Fatty Acid 1x a day
-5-MTHF: 20mg a day
-TMG: 2,000mg a day
-Ariginine (circulation issues to hands and feet): 500mg 1x a day
-Huperzine-A
-PH Basic 1-3x a day.

And a partridge in a pear tree.

Any feedback would be very much appreciated. Since I know niacin is a, "methyl-sponge" I'm kind of worried about the niacinamide in the B-6... but maybe needlessly so.

Thanks very much for your time!

Ryan

Thank you! Sorry about the the length in time for the reply. I really appreciate your input.

I have methyl b12 on order right now :).

I'm also planning on ordering some Niagen (Nicotinamide Riboside.) Even though I'm an undermethylator, and I know Niacin is a, "methyl sponge," I figure I might be able to either increase my current dose of TMG to 3.000mg daily, in order to compensate? Is NR as much of an issue as Niacin in it's raw form? I seem to be finding differing opinions.
