I've read numerous articles recently which claim that the physical attractiveness of a person (at least for males) is governed largely by their immune systems. Those that were ranked as more attractive apparently had a greater immune response (natural killer cells, antibody production, etc).
Therefore, it would make sense to deduce that supplements which bolster this system would result in an enhancement of attractiveness.
Herbs that immediately spring to mind are:
Siberian Ginseng,
Spirulina,
Maitake,
and Turkey Tail.
Do you guys reckon there may be some validity in this suggestion?
Note: I have NOT included other immune-boosting herbs (including Echinacea and Tinospora) as these have been found to reduce the action of Testosterone, which also plays a big part in male attractiveness.
Higher testosterone seems to work synergistically with healthy immune systems and lower cortisol - for maximum attractiveness. This makes logical sense, as these 3 attributes are like 3 big flags to the woman that the guy is going to produce healthy offspring.
As far as female attractiveness goes, the literature seems to suggest that only lower cortisol is a key player, and that immunity is NOT related, although personally I am rather sceptical about this.
