Which ingredients should one avoid in a sunscreen?

There is no clear cut answer. Some will say all chemical sunscreens are dangerous. I do know that Avobenzone is one of the best UVA absorbers, but breaks down with exposure to sunlight unless applied every 2 hours. Whether outside or inside, still breaks down every 2 hours. Tinosorb M is supposed to be very stable and about as equal to zinc oxide in protection but usually only available in Europe. I only use zinc oxide.
