Your comment made think about skin aging, and why we wrinkle-up as we get old. The article says that all the elastin that we are born with stays with us throughout life. However, does it break apart, become less elastic, or change as we age? Or do the wrinkles have more to do with our skin cells dying and becoming less functional?
