To my knowledge, UV in general is not good for the eyes.
I am already a user of contact lenses so yesterday I saw I could get the brand I use with UV protection in transparent color.
How many of you use contact lenses with or without UV protection?
I am wondering why we have not discussed this before on the forum compared to we use sunglasses to protect the skin area + eyes?

When I used to wear contacts, they had UV protection. With or without contacts, I always wear sunglasses outside for the extra UV eye protection and also protection from skin damage around the eyes.

I've never heard of contact lenses that were solely for UV protection and not for correction. Maybe there is such a thing.
