Voicing specific complaints and criticisms.

[>] If your criticism relates to the lack of a technical feature, to a disagreeable design, etc. please post a "suggestion" below. Usually a poll will be best, so you can gauge whether other people agree with the suggestion. Please note however, that not all suggestions are technically feasible or easy to implement. Also the last say on implementing a feature rests with the ImmInst Full Membership.

[>] If you wish to complain about a specific post or comment, please note first of all that while ImmInst reserves the right to edit or delete content without notice, this does not imply that ImmInst undertakes to, has the capacity to, or accepts any responsibility to moderate these forums in any way. However, if you deem content grossly inappropriate for any reason, a first step is to raise the issue in private communication with the author first, who has the technical capacity to edit or delete own contributions. If such communication is not successful and you really wish the contribution to be edited, please contact the appropriate Navigator: DonSpanton (general matters), Bates & chubtoad (Biotech), elrond (Nootropics), Matthias (Germany), thefirstimmortal (FreeSpeech), or any director.

[>] If you wish to complain generally about the behavior of another guest or member, it is often best to raise the issue in private communication first. If you don't reach an understanding that way, please contact a Navigator.

[>] If you wish to complain about a Navigators action, it is best to raise the issue in private communication first. If you don't reach an understanding that way, please post below or contact two or more of the ImmInst Directors via private Message (PM). Please note that ImmInst leadership will rarely second-guess a navigators actions.

[>] If you wish to complain about any issue regarding your membership status about difficulties in becoming a member, please contact the membership secretary.

[>] If you wish to complain about ImmInst policy or a decision by the membership or leadership: If you are a member, please raise the issue in the Full Members forum. If you are a Basic Member (guest) please raise the issue in this forum.

[>] If you wish to complain about the injustice of the world in general, please feel free to use the forums and your pillow.

PS: A personal note:
We take all complaints seriously... IF it is clear that the person complaining is serious. If you have a burning complaint, it might be good to step back, pause, consider the importance of the issue. Only if you don't feel a bit silly after taking that breath should you go on in the style you deem appropriate. Often, the greater the excitement, the less one can manage to take matters seriously.
