Not directly relevant as they're not nootropic suppliers (more psychotropic), but it shows that the DEA has been doing a bit of surfing. I wonder if a certain supplier close to our hearts needs to have a think about the 'Research Chemicals' section of their site... there's probably pretty good money in it but is it worth drawing the heat?

jeromewilson, if it's not worth drawing heat, what is? what about when I have sex and my DHEA levels spike to 400% baseline. Are they going to outlaw that too?because my DHEA levels are too high? Life extension is worth drawing whatever heat comes its way. The hell with the DEA, on one hand they tell me I cannot ingest cannabis which has been linked to beneficial effects in moderation, on the other they say it's ok to drink booze till my hearts content, which has been implicated in so many health problems as to cause my distress at which one to start off with. Does that make any sense whatsoever? or are the imbecilles heads too far up their rectums to know any better?

All ranting aside, those chemical supply houses were raided due to the selling of chemicals that fall under the category of hallucinogens, furthermore hallucinogens that have allegedly killed people.

That is the rationale. I can't say if that is "right" or "wrong." But I can say that piracetam doesn't kill people.

Know what you mean, but what I meant was that if I was in the business and, by reducing my product product line, I could significantly reduce the chances of being shut down by the DEA, I'd take that option. On the basis that a business selling less is better than no business at all.

It's that ol' censorship / personal freedom thing again isn't it? On the whole I lean towards giving people the freedom to do what they want (as long as it doesn't adversely effect others) and let Darwin's Theory take its course.

Should the manufacture and sale of Toilet Duck be banned because someone might be stupid enough to drink it (or, through irresponsibility, allow their children to)?

Maybe the DEA should be there to enforce the quality and authenticity of what's being sold, and that any information and marketing is correct and not misleading?
