JACKSON SEEKS IMMORTALITY

Posted Image

MICHAEL JACKSON was reportedly so afraid of dying in prison after his child molestation trial - he made plans to have his body frozen and later brought back to life.

afraid of dying in prison after his child molestation trial - he made plans to have his body frozen and later brought back to life.

The HEAL THE WORLD singer wanted to have his remains cryogenically preserved until medical research was advanced enough to resuscitate him so he could rise again.

Author MICHAEL LUCKMAN, who met Jackson last year (04), tells the New York Daily News the singer is obsessed with immortality and has invested millions into DNA research to produce perfect children.

Luckman also says Jackson takes GH3, a Romanian-developed drug designed to prolong life expectancy. It is also reported that the singer has deposited his DNA in up to three sperm banks around the world and plans yet more facial plastic surgery.

Luckman says, "Michael has gone to extreme lengths to achieve immortality."

I wonder if Michael Jackson would consider becoming a member of ImmInst and attended ImmInst conferences. Which gets me to wondering about something else as well. I wonder how many dedicated Immortalists there are out there who are not members of ImmInst.

What is GH3? Some sort of growth hormone.

If he is letting it known that he wants to live forever. Great. He is spreading the meme, planting ideas in people's heads, all without being a member of Imminst, thus preserving some of our integrity. Maybe he will be a member in the future, but right now he is a hot potato (or maybe wierd potato).

Hmmmm. Maybe he is already a basic member and is just reading up on things. You never know.

GH3...is also known as procaine. It is one of those things that people interested in....life extension have been taking forever. ALthough I confess given the weird history (I forget the details something about eastern europe) I've never looked into it....hmmm although perhaps it merits further enquiry.....

Heh, I think this is pretty amusing. One time in the SL4 (shock level 4) chatroom I suggested trying to appeal to michael jackson for immortalist/transhumanist/singularitarian causes and Eliezer responded in some manner that it was pretty much the most ridiculous idea in the world.

Michael Jackson seems too damn weird even by cryonicist standards, and that takes into account that I've known a couple of cryonicists who have had sexual relationships with underage boys.

weird goes without saying, regardless of the standard...

he's weird by standards of a pedophile.

I trust you have informed your local law enforcement agency.

Insofar as weird and despicable goes pedophiles are up there with the worst.

I'm surprised he's not a member. Perhaps he is under another alias :) The guy's never been shy about spending money, and has to have googled immortality or immortalism by now.

If he's a member, perhaps he's not doing it openly because of the negative publicity it might give, or the wrong kind of people (ala fans) it might attract.

That's not to say you're messed up if you're a fan, I think his music is great, but... well some can get a bit fixated. I can understand the temptation, there's something magical about the way the guy lives, but we need to concentrate more on deifying our own lives rather than worshipping someone else's.

He's certainly to be envied though. I could see myself being rather similar if I were actually a good dancer or musician. Heh.

*imagines 2000 years from now the Church of Jackson Mike being spread throughout the world*

I know this is an old article but I was just going through a ton of search results researching another topic and I thought that this is a definite example of what not to do. Specifically, in the case of MJ, having a doctor around 24/7 to inject all sorts of dangerous anesthetics to help one sleep better is not a good way to pursue immortality.

What was he doing with his millions? If he really wanted immortality then how is it that he managed to not find us? I mean, since he didnt, did he really want to? This is such a great reminder that just thinking we want indefinite life extension isnt good enough. We have to act now. The clock ticks time away like its going out of style. We have to volunteer or die.

I really liked Michael Jackson but maybe he was not able to make that kind of arrangement for himself, he was more like a child inside, and since the people around him were only vampires...

Just out of curiosity - if he DID do cryonics, how would we know? He was carted off to a hospital shortly after death, yes?

I assume Alcor and CI and all respect client confidentiality - so is it just trusting the rumor mill? Or is there hard evidence he didn't?

Hmm, speaking of that, it would make a lot of sense for them to make a dummy body bag to divert the photographers so as to not disrupt its actual movement wouldnt it? It may even be a technique that some hospitals are taught.

Maybe while people were watching the body bag move around, he was actually still in the hospital room being packed with dry ice while cryonics officials flew in or something like that.

actually all immortalists failed till now, people still do not live over 122 - this is the greatest official record
besides that, being a celebrity can't increase lifespan no matter how much money you make- he slept late since he was a child and we know how important sleep is for a basic health, he had to endure a lot of stress and he had some autoimmune diseases- how could he reach 100 this way?

I don't understand what you mean.

If you are an alive immortalist or even an immortalist in cryostasis, how do you know that you failed ?

This could be an example of what hapens when you trust science to give you (false) immortality.
Or, how to search for immortality the wrong way.

i meant that nobody lived more than 122 years till now - and that is a short life span.
