I started a nootropics satck about 2 days ago.

I thought I start with (thanks to Lifemirage and Mnosal and a few others)

Piracetam 2.4 grams in morning and 1500 millgrams of aniractem
with 600 mg of Alpha Gpc
Plus 1ml of Idebenone

I take those with these basics

Ginkgo 120mgs
Dmae 300 mg
Selenium 200 mg
B 50 compound
a Multivitamin containing primarily Zinc , Magnesium, and Calcium,
2 grams fishoil.

I then take another 2.4 Pir in afternoon.

My question I have Hup A and aloso pyritinol.

Should I take hup a when I am studying only as with pyritnol or should i take it along with
the racetam's too.

Any advice on what I should add or take away will be greatly appreciated greatly.

Blessing :)

I would take the HupA throughout the day (eg. 50mcg @ 7am/ 3pm/ 11pm)

This will keep Acetylcholinesterase levels low all day. The main benefit would be needing less Aplha-GPC (which keeps the cost of a good regimen significantly lower). Experiment with ratios a little as you get comfortable with the stack and routine. I'm comfortable now with:

1200mg Piracetamtam 3x day(7/3/11)
1000mg Aniracetam 1x (with meal at 3:30)
50mcg Hup-A 3x day (7/3/11)
300mg Alpha GPC 2x day (3/11)

I don't know anthying about chronic Pyritinol use vs occasional but I use 400-600mg 2hrs before evening classes Mon-Thu and have noticed a boost in attention and ability to absorb lecture materials(invaluable in Pathophysiology :) ).

I would be curious to hear from others who have used Pyritinol in more frequent scheduled doses as well. I started taking it as an alternative to Desmopressin(vassopressin) and have switched permanently to Pyritinol.

Good Luck

I avoid DMAE after doing research (neg effects on muscle tissue, etc) Sorry don't have the link handy) and Just my opinion after reading enough adverse effects of DMAE.

Also, the huperzine can make you quite nauseous if you take too much; esp on empty stomach!

I found Ginko did nothing for me...2 yrs taking, many diff dosages too.

I prefer racetams and alpha GPC (the only worthwhile choline; exp but not worth wasting $ on the other forms)

I also take a liq minerals that seems to help the vits absorb better and not just pass thru. But the liq mins I take are hard to find. They are not sugared down like al the others, and it is quite a feat to get the 20 drops a day down. It contains the same mins as your blood, but conc 100 times and all the salt (nacl) taken out. A bottle lasts 3 mos and makes a real diff (at least I notice it)
will get info if you want.
