Sometimes my thoughts and speech are too fast when I am time constrained

I also sometimes respond to questions with impulsive shallowness rather than giving the answer some real thought.

Also I have been told I jump topics quickly. So I will mention one topic, I will see no interest from the other person and then hop on to the next. I made it a thing to develop good social skills and I am not sure of what the problem is but my guess is either of these 3:

a)Anxiety

b)Other person is insincere and disinterested hence not microexpressing which I am subconsciously picking up on hence carrying on not expecting any input.

c)Just a personality trait of mine I likely cant change (Narcassistic authority;controlling the conversation).

I really want to learn to pause and swish things around in my mind for a second before speaking. Is there any exercise for this, such as lowering impulsiveness...

Just an Idea

Tyrosine, Tianeptine

would try Tianeptine first then see how you feel. adding tyrosine next day.

try 2mg-6mg Tianeptine for starters it is effective in minutes. its a waste over 12-16mg I think but everyone is different.

Tyrosine could help also trying small amounts for starters.

adding to much might make you feel bla.

Tianeptine helped this morning as my mind was racing & I couldn't control or slow my mind down

Read some of my posts how I have felt the past few days & nothing worked from my list of products except these above. others gave me an odd feeling & not a positive one so far. I added Sulbutiamine & makes me feel odd. it takes time to figure it out im finding.

Tianeptine helped Anxiety for me & is very nice & super fast. take small amount even 2mg-4mg for starters you can add more after an 30 mins - hour if you want to slow down more. I found taking 12mg might be to much of a shock. Tyrosine I would try next for sure. they both seem to have worked where others failed. but everyone is different. would buy these for sure!!!

Good Luck!
