Hello, I'll briefly introduce myself and then ask some questions at the end. I'm a 28 year old male from Finland, I'm a university student working on my thesis on language impairments (General Linguistics) and I also do occasional part-time jobs to support my family and to make our house loan payments.

In the past 5 years I have noticed a gradual decline in my brain functions, I seem to spend more and more time daydreaming and just sitting around doing nothing - sometimes even just staring at the walls! Nowadays I also waste time f.ex. on the internet even though I know I have more important things to focus on. I've also been getting more lazy and initiating something has been more of a burden (f.ex. fixing my broken car as soon as possible or even just vacuuming or doing the dishes).

Also spontaneous speech quality has declined in my opinion, finding the right words has become a bit harder although I still consider myself verbally witty and active. It just seems that I get these lockouts more often where I'm in a tight situation (f.ex. the dog just pee'd on the carpet) and I need to say something fast (f.ex. to my wife: quickly! bring a bucket full of water and a mop!) but all I can come up with is the correct foreign language word or a Finnish word that is pretty near what I'm looking for (f.ex. bring me the... plastic thingy with water in it and also the... the... rake... no, not the rake but the same kind of long thingy you use to scrub floors with... yes, the mop dear!. I am in total control of what I say and I am aware of the situation and the need for the "right" word, but if I can't find the right word I just say something close enough. But jeesh, I'm only under 30 years old, I shouldn't be staggering in my verbal output.

Anyway, I just got some Aniracetam and Choline. I started to take it like this:
One dose in the morning; Choline Citrate 1300mg + Aniracetam 1200mg

Is this ok?

I'm on my second day now. I got the package on wednesday and took doses immediately (at around 5pm). It affected me in 20 minutes or so and I felt kind of wierd. I was more active but also my mind was not as focused as it should be, everything looked a bit different - I was looking around at some times unconsciously because everything just felt a bit wierd. It was like I had taken some caffeine and a beer (I don't drink coffee). It was ok though and I will continue my dose today (thursday).

One thing I noticed was that my sleep was somehow affected. I was restless in the evening and also in the morning. In the morning hours (6-7AM) my chest felt heavy, almost as I had excitement or pressure from something, but it went away at 7AM and I proceeded to sleep until 9AM - hey, I'm on a holiday here ;)

So that's basically it. Please comment on my opinions and I would also like to know if my above stack is ok, is the dosing of 1x / day enough for choline and aniracetam and are the doses large enough. I weigh around 230 pounds. Also if there is something more I should add, please let me know. My diet is a "partial" bodybuilding diet - meaning it's not hardcore strict but it's not all BicMacs and cereal either, as I am continously trying to get a bit leaner and gain muscle. I eat plenty of protein and take multivitamin and multimineral tabs.

Probably but you might want to consider taking less to start with. 1200mg of aniracetam is quite a lot and especially so when you have not tried it before.

In the morning hours (6-7AM) my chest felt heavy, almost as I had excitement or pressure

I get, and a few others have mentioned that they get, mild cardiac arrhythmia from Aniracetam. Im not sure that
you are describing symptoms of that, however, if you think you are, you could consider switching to Piracetam or Oxiracetam.

I encapsulated the Aniracetam and Choline Citrate into 200mg+200mg tablets, I'm now taking 1000mg Aniracetam and 1000mg Choline Citrate once in the morning with fish oil and Twinlab's (encapsulated) MaxiLife nutrient powder.

Is there really nothing else you guys would suggest?

The sides are almost gone now, the only side effect now is slight insomnia, I have trouble initiating sleep in the evening and I also seem to wake up more easily. I used to be a "good" sleeper when I was younger but after my mid 20's my sleep quality has declined - I can't sleep long, not even on weekends when I have a hangover and nothing important to do :( (I do sleep around 7½-8 hours a night but that's just not enough in my opinion, I'd like to get 9 hours every night)

Suggestions for better sleep?

PS. The good sides of Aniracetam (+ choline?) start showing themselves, I am a bit more alert (maybe even too much for my liking - typing errors have increased because I want to type as fast as possible), mathematical calculations are WAY easier than before - I don't have to double-check for errors as I get the calculations right at the first try and I do them like 150% faster than before! Also I seemed to recall useless information really fast when I helped my wife with the Wheel of Fortune game on the internet, and also in that WoF game I somehow feeled smarter when I tried to think of the missing letters, I was thinking of the origins of the words and started to sample through the original latin animal names when there was a question involving an unknown animal etc.

I'm impressed, and some people say Aniracetam manifests itself during long-term... this is my 3rd day [thumb]

Pyritinol 600-1,200 mg is one of the best smart drugs for focus.

I'd have to say that somewhere around the mid- to late-20's is when one's physical stature from their teenage years begins to falter and a lot of the symptoms you've described correlate with my own experience. Real quick here, but *exercise* when you can and do *breath work* ALL the time (while walking, sitting, just keep your circulation up, like your posture).
