I wish I would've never taken that first dose of Adderall.

Although it did give me an opportunity to lead a better life, and opened pathways which may not have been possible without it, I no longer have the ability to enjoy anything.

I enjoy nothing at all anymore. Nothing. Not even the few things that I still enjoyed during the time I took Adderall.

I am absolutely terrified of what will become of me. I'm terrified that I've done irreversible damage to my brain.

Of course, as soon as I stop Adderall, I know that I will immediately begin to fall behind in school and my grades will plummet. It's either that or I spend the rest of my life unable to enjoy anything anymore.

I never even get hungry anymore. I don't enjoy food now.

I wish I knew what to do.

In time yes, anhedonia does tend to reverse, usually through long and frustrating progress. Various remedies can give relief though. I would slowly start tapering off the amphetamine, take magnesium and possibly other nmda-antagonists, and add things like Jiaogulan to reverse dopaminergic function. When coming off switch to milder stimulant like caffeine if you feel lacking energy and take Rhodiola.

holy shit bro u look zombified. but i wouldn't worry i had a friend that came off of a 2 year 200 mg a day habbit and he looks sooo much healthier now and is completely back to normal.

idk if u have considered it but rehab might do you well.

Galaxyshock speaks the truth.. everything he mentioned will deffinetly help.

If i were you i'd try some reishi mushroom..it had compounds that mimic ngf bdnf. It all around a great tool to balance a person out.

Hey friend, look here, a few of us have compiled a lot of information on this thread. http://www.longecity...em/#entry706782
Read it all, do a bit of research on some of the stuff mentioned there. After reading all that, if you still have questions, feel free to PM me. I've been fighting a 6 year battle to recover from amphetamines, haven't been on them in 3 years, my anhedonia has been cut in half. I suspect I'd be feeling a lot better if I had managed to have a normal sleep schedule for more than a few days at a time in years, but I'm working on it. Ensuring high testosterone , exercising, eating well, and abstinence has done a lot. I haven't even taken my fancy supplements yet, as well as the sleep issue, so I think there is a lot more room for improvement. From what I've read about meth addicts(which is the only legit information on adderall/amphetamine recovery sadly), it can take years. So have some hope. The only thing I'm worried about is, I don't want to just get back to normal, I want to get back to my former high functioning state. I used to feel like I was on adderall before I took it, so it made me super high and then brought me low like you.
My eyes have that same sunken dark circle look, and I faced a 2 year problem with my appetite where I was heavily relying on meal replacement shakes and vitamins because I couldn't eat. All in all, you can and will get better, it will just take time, although I'm not sure the limit of recovery.

Also, I'm curious, how long have you been taking it, in what dosages, and how frequently(times per day and average times per week).

Are you me in disguise? I felt the same exact thing. I'm in med school too.

How long have you been on it and what dose?

Could You tell how much did You´ve used it and for how long ?

What are the main perresitent effects ?

What do You have allready tried ?

We are in the transition to a future where a therapy of neurodegenerative disorders could be possible. So I wouldnt bet on the term, forever.

Consider that even the bodies own repair mechanism (without using anything) is able to repair something to a certain extend after 1 or a few years.

Here are some suggestions:

Drug abuse and Nootropic Repair

Cognitive impariment/brain fog after one night cocaine use

I haven't done a lot of research yet but TB4 and BPC-157 (peptides) could be helpful
