The Zenith Project

The sun has between 1 and 5 billion years before it uses up all it’s hydrogen and starts
expanding, making planet Earth uninhabitable. Also, our solar system is part of the
Galaxy called the Milky Way, which apparently is on a collision course with the next
nearest Galaxy, Andromeda, and this is going to happen in approximately 3 billion
years. Hence, for humans to survive, they have between 1 and 3 billion years to find
and transport themselves to another inhabitable planet, in another solar system, in
another stable galaxy.

Now, almost all suns/stars have similar fates, i.e., they use up their hydrogen and start
expanding. So for humans to survive they will have to become a planet hopping
species.

If humans can achieve planet hopping, this will perhaps give them billions upon
billions of years to discover all there is to be discovered about the universe, using
scientific methods. Hence, in the future, humans may be able to :-

Time travel.
Understand the workings of the Big Bang.
Create an artificial heaven, i.e, a man-made heaven.
Create eternal bodies.
Create human to eternal body converters so that, at the point of death, all the humans
that ever existed can enter this artificial heaven for eternity and exist in eternal
bodies.

Hence, using scientific methods, humans may become immortal in an artificial heaven
for eternity.

I think it is important to take the above seriously and take the appropiate steps to start
such a project (The Zenith Project) as, if this is not done, the result may be eternal death
for everybody.

Note. In order to transfer the consciousness of a human being to an ‘eternal body’, it
may be necessary to carry out mind/brain research which might involve surgery in
order to understand consciousness.

This is related to the Zenith Project but not necessarily to do with immortality. However we may have to do this somewhere along the line (in the future). For your interest only. Administrator, please delete if you think it's inappropiate.

The Big Bang Project

Suppose, in the future, scientists designed and constructed a Big Bang Generator, sent it
back in time to the beginning (year dot), triggered it, thereby creating the Big Bang,
from which stars and planets formed, on which life evolved, giving rise to intelligent
beings, who produced scientists (human/alien), who in the future designed and
constructed a Big Bang Generator. This suggests that without human/alien intelligence
the universe would be non-existent. However, if the organised, human/alien intelligence
was clever enough, it could perhaps devise a way of bringing itself into existence. This
may be possible because organised intelligence is like a ‘force’ providing it can apply
itself in it’s reality, and this ‘force’ may be sufficient to create itself and it’s reality.

Scientists would have to ultimately construct a Big Bang Generator from ‘reality’, and
design it in such a way as to generate a universe with specific properties, to enable the
universe to ultimately create intelligence, and allow the Generator to be constructed
and used with the intended effect. Hence, the properties of the universe could possibly
be generated by the Generator in such a way as to allow them to be manipulated by the
created intelligence.

The questions are:-
In the future, will organised intelligence be clever enough to design a Generator from
the existing ‘designed’ reality with it’s existing ‘designed’ properties, that will actually
generate, from absolutely nothing, the universe of these same designed properties? It is
assumed that time is a designed property and that it’s manipulative, in order to allow
the Big Bang Generator to be sent back to the beginning (year dot).
Is it possible for human/alien intelligence to be created and create themselves
simultaneously?

I’m suggesting that for humans/aliens to exist possibly requires a destiny in which a Big
Bang Generator will be designed, constructed and implemented.

ps. The Big Bang Project could be implemented before or after the Zenith Project is implemented.

Milky Way, which apparently is on a collision course with the next
nearest Galaxy, Andromeda

From what I understand, this "collision" will happen, but the stars, planet, etc have an astronomically small possibility of hitting each other. If you can imagine, it's the same probability of a piece of sand floating inside your living room hitting another piece of sand.

In order to transfer the consciousness of a human being to an ‘eternal body’, it
may be necessary to carry out mind/brain research

Already being done... http://www.ibiblio.o...MUHomePage.html

[huh] planet hopping? some of us could choose to design our bodies so that we could be space-faring beings!

yzend1,
All good ideas, except for the part where you mention time travel. I wont go into a rant on the problems that arise with that theory. I will say that time travel, if possible, is one of the worst possible ideas ever imagined, it would eventually undue the fabric of space and time. Time travel is not, nor will it ever be needed. The people who would work on implementing time travel would not be thinking of the consequences of their actions. They would be thinking of how they could benefit from it personally. If they thought of the consequences, they would never even try to make it a possibility. I would actually hope that they would outlaw it. It makes a wonderful topic for discussion, but must be left at just that, an idea.
