Cycling astragalus and resveratrol

mayling's Photo mayling 09 Feb 2015

Hi all!

So, I've seen in some threads that telomere-lengthening supplements are inhibited by some mainstream supplements such as resveratrol or even curcumin..

I heard suggestions and recommendations for cycling but what if I am taking cheap astragalus supplements that I am willing to spare?

I'm planning to take Nature's Way Astragalus Root and NOW Foods Astragalus Extract which are both really cheap, so will there be any effect on my other supplements?

Rather than whether will the supplements potentially inhibit the astragalus (since those are really cheap and I can consume them "just in case"), I'm gonna ask, will these astragalus supplements affect the other supplements? Will astragalus interfere or inhibit, let's say, resveratrol, fish oil or curcumin?

Thanks in advance!

Just about all the evidence of Telomerase inhibition be Resv etc was done on cancerous cells.  So its a good thing.
The same substances seem to have the opposite effect on healthy cells.

There is plenty of discussion on this here.
Try a Google Site Search.  You'll find it in the top menu bar, on the right.

Also anti-agingfirewalls.com  has a good writeup on the subject.  It also has a site search function.
