On the topic of social networking, how are people doing with talking to the people in their lives about life extension?

In my case my girlfriend, best friend and my daughter (my only child) are on board.

My father is not (he doesn't believe it will work) and my mother is at present not stating a position.

I'm talking to other people as I come across them; in my case I network professionally on a regular basis so I am able to meet new people.

I figure it's important that all of us try to talk to at least our friends and families so I'm wondering if people are doing that and how it is going?

So... anyone? :) I hear a lot of people have issues with their female significant other not being on board.  Anyone have issues with that?

Many people, that I invited didn't come. Some of them are even joking with those, who believe, that you can make your life longer, and that immortality is not that impossible.

Well, this is how it often is at the beginning.  Give it a few more years with some real advertising of what is possible and they'll change their tune.  Scientists have somewhat come around, the public is next.

What we need most is to awaken our existing community and fundraise more. People will respond on their own when we have results.
