I have neuroleptic induced sexual dysfunction, I've been instructed to use cabergoline but I can't because I cannot obtain it. I assumed that simply lowering prolactin will restore genital sensitivity, and orgasmic pleasure. I am also taking St. Johns wort's because someone else also instructed to use that.

Does anyone else have any experience or coherent recommendations?

I guess I will post whether if what I am self-medicating with, will work or not.

Call your doctor today if possible and ask him about interactions between st. john's wort and your neuroleptic.

Numerous natural product extracts, from plant, fungal, and microbial terrestrial and marine sources, have been evaluated for aromatase inhibition using various noncellular, cell-based, and in vivo assays. Some of the more active extracts included those of Agaricus bisporus (Lange) Imbach (white button mushrooms) [115] and Vitis L. sp. (grape and/or wine) [86, 106, 107], among others.

I'm off of neuroleptics, and my doctor would be of no help. He thought anti-psychotics would cure emotional blunting.

Like prescription SSRIs, it takes weeks to work.  Tho it may immediately contribute to your flaccidity.

If the dysfunction persists more than a few months after cessation of antipsychotic therapy, it may be due to other factors: low testosterone, lack of exercise, or a non-nutritive diet (empty calories).

If you simply want another drug to treat the first drug's side effects, sildenafil.
