Alcor has had several weak CEO's in a row. I'd like to see a new CEO who has supported cryonics for years (unlike the last two, who both wound up at the head of Alcor after signing up in the twenty-first century!) and who has demonstrated that he can run a successful business (again, something missing in the backgrounds of Alcor CEO's).

But then, I must seem odd for insisting on competence in the man who might have to put me in cryo during his watch.

Background:
This thread was split from the topic "embezlement at Alcor". It adresses the announcement that Alcor's President and CEO, Joe Waynick, resigned, and a replacement is being sought. The Alcor board elects the CEO.
My feeling is (and I might be wrong), that Alcor is very unsure about who should fill the post.
Feel free to discuss prospects and potential candidates here.
jonano: I see you are soliciting support for your candidature. You will be allowed only one such post in these forums (not including responses to questions or comments).

The Alcor board elects the CEO.

What is the board in question?

Alcor Board of Directors?

or
Advisors to the Alcor Board?
