So I am using a sunscreen from babo botanicals. When I bought it off of amazon, I saw the ingredients as being 22.5% NON nano zinc oxide. However on the front of the bottle it says "clear Zinc"...... When I put it on, even at 22.5% ZnO, it is slightly less whitening than my Purple Prarie sunscreen which is 20% Zno, obviously considerably less percentage than the Babo Botanicals one...... I thought that clear zinc is usually NANO particles....... This does not make sense to me as you can't have a zinc sunscreen that is deemed clear zinc if it is using true NON nano particles can you? Or can it be less whitening due to other ingredients, but Still remain Non nano?

Also, I tested it against my other sunscreen which is Coppertone zinc oxide sunscreen..... That one is 14.5% ZnO and happens to be about as white as my purple prarie one, AND also, it shows up whiter than my babo botanicals sunscreen..

should I be wary?

It sounds like that it is Zinc Clear of which the percentage of zinc oixide is 50% of ithe manufacturer claims; thus, the percentage of ZnO of Babo Botanicals is 11%.

Here is the one in question. It says non nano on their website and also, it definetely does not say ZinClear, rather, it says, Clear Zinc sunscreen

Likely not ZinClear if it is not spelled exactly like that. Stick with the Babo if your liking it. 20% zinc is hardly considerably less percentage than 22.5%. Your sweating the tiny details too much. You never do that. :-D
