I started sleeping on my back with my head raised (~35 cm; this among new other habits) to improve the condition of my face's skin. More than seven hours of sleep would cause me periorbital puffiness and dark circles. I looked better sleeping less.

Now the situation has improved but I can't manage more than a couple of hours in this position. I wake up feeling very uncomfortable and have to lower my head (mattress high is the best position) and sleep on my side to get more sleep.

Helene Benveniste, lead author of the study, told Yahoo Health that the rodents who were lying on their sides cleared amyloid beta about 25 per cent better than when in the other two positions (source: http://goo.gl/X5ykIe). But then, I'm not a mouse.
