I have never been impressed by my visits to Hooters. I have gone to the one in Oklahoma City and New Orleans neither impressed me.

and I missed the CNN event

CNN the media outlet, or something else.

OK, you might happen to see some mammaries in Hooters, but I don't go there because the food sucks. Even if I wanted some deep fried fatty food...I wouldn't go there.

Lol, I actually didn't enjoy Hooters as much as some of the clubs I ended up going to, but I know I can't post any of the pictures from those. ;)

I saw some people filming, but I am not sure if they were media or not. The cameras there at the back seemed like ones that were bigger and could have been from the news. I am from Atlanta, and I didn't see anything on the local news, but of course I have not seen every channel every night, so there might have been something. One guy was asking some questions to Andrew (aka swami17 screen name) and seemed like he might be a print media guy, maybe from a magazine or newspaper or something.

Haha, the cameras on the risers in the back were mine and Bruce's. You'll see the results from that soon, I hope.

The one interviewing Andrew may have been either a guy named Bill Taylor or ImmInst Advisor Randolfe.

Well, it would be helpful if we someone could tell me how to attach some of the few still photos I took.

However, I did get my first vlog up which I've entitled "WAGING WAR ON DEATH".
It consists of Bruce giving opening remarks comparing Imminst's mission as something like a "new" March of Dimes (which defeated Polio).

I have text with it and will be doing other vlogs shortly. This link will always take you to the last vlog posted and then you scroll down for earlier vlogs.

just type your message (or some kind of text), click "Go to Advanced" down at the bottom. After that, click "Browse..." in the File Attachments section at the bottom of your text area.

Are you speaking of another forum outside of ImmInst.org, or another forum in here? What type of trouble did you run into?

in Israel you'd call such guy "Hach'mo'log" (çëîåìåâ), or "Kash'keh'shan" (÷ù÷ùï)........ literally this means "smartass" or "maunderer".. heh I truly dislike this sort.

OH, and I just got my "newpaper" today and saw this...

From the Genetic Engineering News (GEN) Poll:

Will regenerative medicine and biotech be able to slow or ameliorate human "aging" within the next fifty years?

30% No

70% Yes

Was a GEN website poll.

Looks good.

Well, I may have taken it my way instead of what it would be interpreted as.

I took regenerative and "to make better" in the general sense that we will age but without most of the "bad stuff" occurring.

Still glad people participated in a positive way to a poll containing "regenerative," instead of a knee-jerk "NO!"

Yea I saw that Infernity, thanks for sticking more to em. [thumb]

FutureQ also looks to be having fun as well. The thread is now also the highest in views of that sub-forum, pretty neat.

It still drives me crazy that he actually thought we were promising something, then he takes words out of context and says that simply due to us using the word, we promise it.

ArGh!!!

Sorry, Matt. That's partly my fault. I have video of the entire conference waiting to be unleashed. As it is right now, I'd like to get out certain segments (like particular speakers' presentations) but the files are massive. I'm still working on trying to get the file size down while keeping the quality decent, especially since I've included the powerpoints in the video.

I've also spent time re-working many of the powerpoints so that they will actually be viewable on a television. If we make the video available on DVD, as are my plans, then having powerpoints with words too close to the edge of the screen will make them unviewable. (Viewing the clips on a PC would be fine, but most televisions have a "safe margin" outside of which things are not seen properly.)

I'll begin posting something soon.
