I can get a compounding chemist to make me a skin cream. Currently I have a 3% Niacinimide in sorbolene cream but just feels like I'm putting on expensive sorbolene cream.

Next time if I ask for 10 or 15% is it too much?

Is there anything else I can ask to put in the cream which does not interfere with the Niacinimide that is good for the skin? Maybe I can ask for a low dose vitamin A (no prescription)

I also have freckles starting to develop on my hands. Can I put an even higher dose on the hands?

Clinical studies usually use a moisturizer product containing 5% niacinamide. At this  % it is considered to be well-tolerated, safe and effective. There are some products on the market with higher % of Niacinamide but I doubt they offer extra benefit to the skin. Retin-A, Alphahdroxy acids and Hydroquinone will work much better for freckles. IPL & laser treatments are also quite effective.

Niacinamide, IMO, is overrated.

I've tried IPL, it did nothing for freckles after 3 sessions. It was not something I could keep justifying paying for at $300ish a go.

I'll ask for other ingredients to go in there next time
