I thought I'd start a post and ask why aren't any of us doing this? It's cheap enough. Yes, you have to use it intravenously rather than subcutaneous / intramuscular injection which would be easier, but none of those pills we're popping would equal the power of this -- and if you then used orals to balance out other main antioxidants in your body to keep the balance in check, it seems like this is worth your money rather than resveratol and RLA, etc.

I was thinking this too, because Glutathione is easily broken down in the stomach, yes?
But won't enteric coating prevent this?

Would lot's of excess Glutathione put the other antioxidants of the main antioxidant cycles out of balance, you think?

injection comes with a contamination risk. self-adminstration of a substances via venipunture is overkill and irresponsible to say the least.

it's when you take life extention this seriously does it actually reduce how long you will live.

people think i'm a nut and my regime is very natural and basic compared so some people's.

don't be jabbing needles in your arms or taking a meal's worth of pills everyday to improve yourself. stress is a big killer too, no need to be ironic

Why is everyone so needle phobic? It's just another way of administering something. And taking NAC is absolutely nothing like injecting glut -- there's no comparison, NAC doesn't even come close in potency.

I thought everyone here was looking for the best ways to extend life, that's why I was curious.

Goku, I agree, at least on the principal of the needle. If you administered the needle in an unsanity fashion, sure. That would be really bad. And there is the argument of nootropic abuse, which was tackled in the somewhat shocking post a few months ago. But there are plenty of people with conditions who require needles, some daily, and they seem to get by.

As for the need itself to inject nootropics, I think it would be at least somewhat ignorant of any serious life-extensionist to deny the idea that they may have a place in our near future. And also that some substances may be better absorbed intravenously, intramuscularly, etc. I don't want to get all "bluelight" here, but as medical technology gets more creepy, this might be more of a norm, and apparently, less of a taboo.

That's what I'm talking about! That's not so creepy as it is Star Trek.

Yep we just have to get glutathione in microscopic form of particles.
