I respond _really_ well to supplements and nootropics so these are my Phenibut experiments.

Phenibut + Vyvanse, adderall, ritalin - Perfect combo, synergistic because of all the dopamine; comedowns are much easier.

Phenibut + Taurine - Really synergistic combination, almost a narcotic-like effect. Taurine makes me sleepy so I only do this before bedtime. Recommended.

Phenibut + L-Glutamine - Read good things about this combo, but did not have an effect on me.

Phenibut + Noopept - Works really well, really clear headed without interfering with phenibut's effects.

Phenibut + Ashwagandha - Synergistic combo, however ashw makes me depressed for unknown reasons. Might work for some of y'all.

Phenibut + Lithium Orotate - This combo makes me really really relaxed, not recommended for work or school.

Phenibut + Mucuna Dopa (L-dopa) - No noticable effects after a 7 day trial

Phenibut + DLPA (DL-phenylalanine) - DLPA destroys phenibut's effects for me which is really weird. I felt more tense and anxious. Anyone know why? I can't figure it out with my own research.

Phenibut + GABA supplement - Seems to potentiate phenibut just a little bit, but not worth the extra money imo.

Phenibut + Nicotine - Pheni makes me crave nicotine really bad, however no increased effect

Phenibut + Caffeine - Doesn't seem to be a synergistic combination, but Pheni takes away the jittery caffeine-feeling. Recommended

Next on my try-list: Ph+Fasoracetam, Ph+Oxiracetam, Ph+Sulbutiamine, Ph+phenylpiracetam, Ph+Inositol

Do you have a combo request for me? Post em here and I will order it today and try it.

Try Phenibut + Agmatine.

Agmatine makes phenibut more potent, rather than the other way around.

Thank you, jaiho. Agmantine 90 caps ordered.

I also have nefiracetam, aniracetam and coluracetam on the way - I doubt they'll pass customs though.

Do you not feel a sort of after effect of your phenibut usage ie a down regulation of your GABA b receptors?

This is the same mechanism that contributes strongly to cannabis anxiety.

Perhaps you have a daily stack that mitigates this or makes the GABA b down regulation not noticeable?

Back on topic, you could use some NMDA antagonists before phenibut to potentiate it. (Technically the NMDA antagonsism reduces your built up tolerences for all neurotransmitters to a certain extent)

>Agmatine is one, agmatine also interacts with imidazoline(1) receptor and HT2A amongst others.
>Memantine - potent! Also has dopamine activity
> Theanine - this is a great "antidote" to long term phenibut use as it upregulates GABAb receptors.
It also upregulates BDNF and GDNF (glial cell line-derived neurotrophic factor). GDNF supports the survival of dopaminergic and motorneurons.

After some research I see that theanine is an AMPA antagonist, Kainate antagonist, a GABA-A agonist, and a Group One Metabotropic Glutamate Receptor antagonist. The Group One MGluR's boost the activity of NMDA receptors, so by blocking those receptors theanine is blocking NMDA.

This means theanine is a nootropic. AMPA increases BDNF, and AMPA positive allosteric modulation is the mechanism of piracetam. This means theanine would upregulate AMPA, kainate, and Group One MGluR's. Once MGluR becomes upregulated NMDA would release more acetylcholine [you really want to keep NMDA below a certain level, even with upregulation, because beyond that there is 5HT1A downregulation and neurotoxicity]. AMPA would begin to act like it is under the influence of piracetam. There would be no subtle crash at the end of the AMPA upregulation.

> Magnesium - ideally taken daily to supplement diet

I wanted to post this!

Update your quote! I added extra information on Theanine.

Phenibut + Celastrus Paniculatus would be a good combination I imagine.
Celastrus brings acetylcholinesterase inhibition, TAAR agonism (specifically in the dopamine transporter) and NMDA antagonsism. This might synergize with phenibuts GABA actions.

Also, phenibut + NAC (n-Acetyl Cysteine), NAC promotes dopamine agonism and NMDA agonism

Celastrus and NAC are great to have anyway. I got some Celastrus seed oil, I find it preferable than chewing on seeds...

TS: any more interesting phenibut combinations found?

Anybody try low dose ketamine/mxe/pcp with phenibut?
