I met her during my time in Brisbane ;-) It was cold though and she didn't like to move much. I wasn't actually sure if she was alive. So it's great to see she's fine!

aren't some whales supposed to be much older than that? (something about finding 18th century spear points in a recently killed whale)

I just saw her last week. She was moving around alot, I think we took photos. It looks like she'll last quite a while longer!

Yeah, it was probably just the cold. The crocodiles weren't moving either. Steve had to feed them, and even then they had problems chewing...

Too bad you were there during the winter, you must have left the summer for the winter. As you can see she was lively enougth to run away from me that day - its good to see some healthy cowadice from the old girl :)
You lucky bastard! Steve was away while we were there, which is a downer, because we were hoping to see if he would get eaten by a croc this time.

Im a compulsive editor. Bad pic but then again standing beside a 175 year old makes anyone look good... (so edits back in).
Personally seeing spongebob squarepants was the pinnacle of my hol, imagine seeing spongebob squarepants himself!
