I think the key to skin ageing well is having optimal nutrient intakes.

For example, vitamin C. Some vit C is essential for collagen formation. Too much acts as a pro-oxidant, inhibits melanin and isn't good for skin. I've read similar things about vitamin D, iron and other nutrients. Although essential for skin, an excess causes skin wrinkling.
