So homocitrulline is associated with carbamylation, another occurrence which leads to aging, does taking citrulline supplements make you age faster? Is there a way to get rid of it? I'm guessing that keeping homocysteine in check will limit this process some?

This is a very good question due to the aging effects of AGEs and this, very interesting, study showing Citrulline supplementation causes:

  • Lower mortality
  • Less Susceptibility to oxidation of lipoproteins
  • Lower fat mass
  • Greater muscle mass
  • mTOR  independent mitochondrial 'repair'?

About 2 weeks ago (after reading the above) I started taking 3 g of citrulline three times per day (mid-morning, mid-afternoon, and mid-evening).  In the last 2 weeks I have seen about 3 lbs of stubborn belly fat just disappear! It truly is amazing.
