My questions is, as valdoxan is an M1 and M2 agonist, if I am to stay on this medication for say 6 months, as it is a melatonin agonist, is this dangerous in regards to down-regulation of melatonin receptors, will it cause damage? Within this 6 months, I want to make use of the purported anti-anxiety/depressive effects of the valdoxan as it works on 5ht2c (in an antagonistic fashion like fluoxetine...which has relatively decent results with anxiety) as well to get off pristiq. So within this 6 months I basically want to get my sleep sorted, which will help with some form of regimented exercise (aerobic, weights), moderately healthy diet, and get my supplements aligned (basics: magnesium, vit C, zinc+b6, ashwaghandha, ginger+garlic), and basic mindfulness vipassana meditation. I do all the above, although it is pretty random and sporadic. I find exercise the most beneficial. That is my plan. Also if anyone has had any success/experience/warnings about/with valdoxan or melatonin agonists and the way they function, that input would greatly appreciated. All this with the goal of mitigating symptoms of panic disorder/'pure ocd', with sleep regulation/qualtuy playing a role in severity of symptoms. Thanks
