Anyone care to comment on the new Get Smart formula?

Vinpocetine 10 mg

Centrophenoxine 200 mcg

Pyritinol 200 mg

Picamilon 50 mg

Aniracetam 150 mg

Oxiracetam 50 mg

Idebenone 10 mg

Galantamine 300 mcg

Huperzine A 100 mcg

In general, I like the subs they made. However, I don't understand the 'racetam or Idebenone amounts? [huh]

Is that a single capsule? If so, looking at the vinpocetine and centrophenoxine, it's obvious that the typical dose would be two capsules.

Of course, if you looked at the ANI and OXI, the typical dose would be more like 10 capsules. ;) Those must be "top-up" amounts.

The hup-a looks a little high (for multiple capsules) and the galantamine looks incredibly low.

I would recommend 1-4 daily depending on what other nootropics you're on. While the Centrophenoxine and Galantamine are probably too low to notice an effect from, the other nootropics are in fair to good dosages when taking synergism into account.

This formula includes 2 *racetams, it is suprising they didn't choose to include any CDP-Choline. Is the Huperzine A and Galantamine enough to make up for this?

Furthermore, someone please post the previous ingredients and dosages as a comparrison.

Would it be inadvisable for a newbie to use this as a starting stack? ... the convenience and economy is tempting, but conventional wisdom suggests experimenting with only one or two noops to begin with?

No, actually, I think that's their target market. People new to nootropics should definitely consider "Get Smart."

I kind of got that impression, but doesn't that fly in the face of the conservative advice usually offered to neophytes... ie. try one or two at a time, find what suits you, and build your stack slowly?

No one has anything to say on why a complex formula like this would or wouldn't be a good idea for a noots newbie?

It won't teach you more about which nootropics work best for you, but if it works, you've already cut a lot of research and time. It depends on what is most important for you right now. Finding out what nootropics work best for you or just finding one that works at all.
