"Protein modification by O-linked β-N-acetyl glucosamine (O-GlcNAc) has rapidly emerged as a major cellular signaling mechanism rivaling protein phosphorylation in terms of the number of modified targets" - 1st Paper

"O-GlcNAc-modification of SNAP-29 regulates autophagosome maturation" 2nd Paper

Has this been discussed on the forum? Also what if anything does this have to do with glucosamine?
