Just curious on what people think the best basic stack is? I guess for the restraints/definition on basic let's just consider price range of 30-60 dollar per month, pretty reasonable, almost anyone can afford this price range. Let's also consider the goal to be memory/ cognition enhancement, but if you would like to post a stack with another goal, just state the goal.

My opinion with my limited, but increasing, knowledge on the subject would be one of the racetams, centrophenoxine or another form of DMAE (depending on how much money you want to spend), some type of choline support, and obviously some vitamin supplements as well.

Dear Reng
I dont much about pharmaceuticals as i like to work with herbal or natural products. Not because they dont have side-effects but because their over all stress and damage is like much less and reversible mostly, plus they could be more in-tuned with our natural bio-rythms then totally synthetic products that could become pathetic inside the body:).

If you ask my experience i would suggest that you start taking
An anti-oxidant formula that has

Beta carotene 5000 - 10000 IU
Vitamin C 500mg - 1000mg
Natural Vitamin E 50 IU
Selenium 50mcg
Zinc 10 mg
Grapeseed Xtract 30 - 50mg
Milk Thistle 30 - 50mg
Spirulina 20 mg
Proanthocyanidin Complex Blend 50mg (containing
Green Tea Extract, Red Wine Extract,
and Pycnogenol)

You can take Neuromins DHA 100mg Twice or thrice a week (this is pure stuff - highly recommended)

Then take Symbiotis Colostrum Plus one or two capsule twice or thrice a week and also a good B-Complex only if you feel the need other wise dont burden your system. After all your body is a biological machine that needs some balance between rest and activity.

The best part about this combination is that you can carry on for the rest of your life and it will prove it self to you in due time. It sounds simple, but its well researched. And simple is always better! Try to put less stuff in your body but it must be QUALITY stuff. Your body has great wisdom and dont block your brain with too many mind boosters as it will surely block inspiration from the creative part of your MIND! Free mind is a great asset keep building it. You must have heard of Beta, Alpha and Theta Brainwaves and all these mind boosters alter these brainwave pattern.

Cholinergic boosters increase beta wave activity. Beta waves make you focus hard but they exert the most distructive effect on the communication between the cells of your body and your deeper consciousness (soul). And meditation does the opposit. It incearses alpha and theta waves bringing more energy and consciousness into your physical vehicle (body). So make your choices wisely while taking mindboosters and try to bring a balance to your brainwave pattern. With right pattern all the chemicals in your brain will be released in the right amount.

Good luck and feel free to share your ideas with me. Thankyou.

Hazar -- I'm a bit concerned with the quality of your posts. You write as though you're an expert on the subject, but I'm afraid you're mistaken quite frequently. In fact, quite frankly, I don't think you have business recommending substance or dose to *anybody*. You make outrageous, new-age, intellectually-irresponsible claims – without any sources, abstracts or footnotes…

For example—

Spirulina 20 mg? C’mon… where’d you get that dose from. Ridiculous.

Neuromins DHA 100mg… this isn’t even close to what the clinical trials suggest – or even what a resident expert like Life-Mirage would suggest to life-extensionists w/ limited funds.

You write

“plus they could be more in-tuned with our natural bio-rythms then totally synthetic products that could become pathetic inside the body:)”

I don’t even know exactly what this means. But speaking of “bio-rythms,” let’s look at the example of melatonin, a *synthetic* substance, which has been proven to help reset our circadian rhythms when taken at the appropriate time.

I *think* your heart is in the right place, Hazar – god forbid what your motivation is, if not – but I really think you ought to be a bit less conclusive when you make recommendations about subjects in which you have no expertise.

Thanks.

I will try to give a pertinent response though your results may vary and experimentation might help you decide. Piracetam is a good, safe start. It can be obtained in bulk or capped for very little money or, if you want purity assurance (or near-assurance), you can purchase from a reliable, third party tested source such as relentless improvement or even the brand name Nootropil. A month-time supply should be between less than $10 (if in bulk) to S20 if from Relentless Improvement or Unique Nutrition. Pyritinol is also effective and not too expensive if purchased through an American source. This could be purchased from the same companies either in bulk (assuming Unique Nutrition does not delay this product's release any further) or in 200 mg capsules for about 20 or 25 dollars. Galantamine and some of the European drugs have proven valuable to me but they would certainly be out of the price range quoted. Huperzine might be a valuable addition, though. As far as choline sources, the cheapest and least effective would be choline citrate or bitartrate. The best overall choline supplement (in my opinion, of course) would be cdp-choline (citicholine). This could probably be obtained for about 20 dollars. Another one is Alpha-GPC which seems to be cheaper these days. I am not too savvy about centrophenoxine myself because I mistakenly forgot to lower my dose of Galantamine and have not tried it again since (you should adjust average doses of choline boosters/acetylcholinosterase inhibitors if you decide to add or subtract one). If stress is an issue for you, theanine might be a valuable addition too.

Well guys, I hate for one of my first posts here to be a flame, but after lurking for a while, I can't help but concur that Hazar is a little bit of a hippie-scientist... and in the immortal words of Cartman - "I hate hippies"

I wouldn't say hippie as much as I would "Colostrum Salesperson".

...let's just consider price range of 30-60 dollar per month...

Assuming you arent going to buy bulk powders...

ALCar, ALA (or CoQ10), Vinpocetine, Panax Ginseng (or other herbal)
^this should cost less than $1 per day

With the other $1 choose from
Centronphenoxine, Depreneyl, Hydergine, alpha-GPC + Piracetam, Idebenone, Aniracetam + Huperzine A, Pyritinol, etc. etc.

btw0. DMAE's reputation has dropped considerably as of late.

btw1. Other than GPC or CDP, choline supplementation won't do much for memory/cognition.
