im trying to find some good herb companies, anyone have any favs?

and by good i mean:

organic where possible
heavy metal and microbial testing done
no harsh solvents used
solvent & active compounds levels verrified POST extraction

the only company i know of that does all this(and a bit more) is gaia herbs...

New Chapter, no? I know that their ginger, at least, is organic.

Also, Natural Factors grows some of their herbs on "Factor Farms" here in BC, and it's organic. You might email them and ask which herbs are grown there.

yea man, no one really even comes close to them. but like the ONE herb they dont have is one i want.

planetary formulas and herbalist & alchemist are decent herb companies, but their quality control isnt anywhere close to gaia. ive been asking one of the guys at planetary questions, because they make the extract i want... and hes been giving me the run around.

dante,

new chapters entire product line is organic, but they dont make the extract i want :( btw their supercritical(extracted with liquid co2) ginger & tumeric extracts are second to none

Good site, very informative, nice blends, and a guarentee for freshness. I will be using them in the near future.
