They say it will be more complicated than sequencing the human genome but at the current rate of technological advances will it be accomplished much faster?

Good. Finally they are taking action to find out about genes which are/may be associated with various cancers. I noticed that they mentioned that we now have the technological ability to do so, guess that was what was keeping this sorth of research from happening earlier more so than funding. The article says there are approximately two hundred types of cancer, wow, never knew it was so many. Cancer is just genetic damage in the form of mutations or such to what I see. [mellow]

I would rather say the number of different cancers is almost infinite.
How many cancers you see depends on at which level you cut of the cluster tree, if you understand what I mean..
