I currently take 2 supplements that require being taken on an empty stomach, and I need to take both in the morning.  One, enada NADH, requires I wait 30 minutes after taking it before eating and the other one, liposomal glutathione, requires I wait 15 minutes.  I really hate waking up, taking the supplements, and then waiting around half-awake for 30 minutes before drinking my morning coffee.  So, my question is, if I drink black coffee, am I still considered to have an empty stomach?  I know my local blood lab says that I am allowed to drink black coffee prior to a fasting blood test.  But my main concern is coffee is acidic, and stomach pH is important in regards to absorbing supplements. So, I am assuming that drinking black coffee at the same time as taking these supplements would risk having adverse effects on absorption, but I just wanted to post this on the outside chance it might be OK.

Thanks!

Tannins were used to cure leather so I don't consider coffee to be very "safe" with supplements. I try to time my supplement use and coffee drinking to occur separately, Start with the coffee then wait an hour before you take the other stuff perhaps.
