Hi Gang,

I just picked up an article on an interesting tool used by German businesses to give them a feel for developing products and services for the elderly. It simulates loss of muscle strength, arthritis, joint stiffness, vision and hearing loss.

Getting a few of these suits and taking them on a publicity tour might be an interesting idea for bolstering support for longevity research among younger generations. This quote particularly caught my attention:

Put enough people into the thing, according to one wearer, and it might just spark a renewed hunt for the legendary Fountain of Youth.

Best,

One has to love those Germans :)

I listened to a National Public Radio broadcast of this same topic. Quite interesting and as you suggest potentially useful in allowing the general public to understand what it means to grow old.
