My doctor (an internist treating me for Lyme disease) has prescribed various antibiotics, most recently dapsone. Because dapsone depletes folic acid, he's also prescrived leucovorin @ 15mg twice per day.

I've had bad reactions to calcium ever since I tried NSI-189 back in March. I'm worried my reaction to NSI, along with other factors means I have something neurodegenerative going on (prion disease). I'm worried about having a reaction to leucovorin.

My reaction to calcium looks like dysautonomia: labored breathing and low blood pressure (which have been a problem of late irrespective of calcium intake).

Does anyone know anything about leucovorin calcium's effect on brain function?
