Hi,

I'm new to the forum and I'm not looking to spam or anything, but I started a new company called BrainAlert and thought that some of you might be interested in our product. BrainAlert contains 24 ingredients that are designed to work together in order to improve memory, mood, concentration, etc. I designed the product myself and I've done a lot research over the past two years to come up with what I believe is the best dietary supplement that one can buy to improve cognition. Basically, I wanted to design a solid product that I could take on a daily basis. Our product doesn't contain piracetam, hydergine, picamillon or any other "smart drug" that would present legal problems for us, but it does contain a good mix of legal vitamins, nutrients, and herbs that still pack a punch.

In fact here is a list of all of the ingredients in our product:

Acetyl-l-carnitine
Ashwagandha
Bacopa Monniera
Bioperine®
Choline
CoQ10
DMAE
Folic Acid
Ginkgo Biloba
Gotu Kola
Huperzine A
L-Carnosine
Methylcobalamin
N-Acetyl Tyrosine
Panax Ginseng
R-Alpha Lipoic Acid
Rhodiola Rosea
Trimethylglycine
Vinpocetine
Vitamin B1 Thiamine
Vitamin B2 Riboflavin
Vitamin B3 Niacinamide
Vitamin B5 Pantothenic Acid
Vitamin B6 Pyridoxine

I would appreciate any and all comments about our formula, especially ideas on what we could do to make it better. If you want to learn more about our product then visit BrainAlert.com. Right now the price of our product is pretty cheap just because we're trying to get people interested, in the future we'll probably be raising the price a bit.

Thanks,
Greg Lisewych

How about a list of the amounts of each? BTW, piracetam and picamillon are perfectly legal in usa.

Well here are the amounts for some of the ingredients per capsule:

Vit. B1 5mg
Vit. B2 5mg
Vit. B3 10mg
Vit. B5 30mg
Vit. B6 7mg
Methylcobalamin 30mcg
Folic Acid 200mcg
Acetyl L-Carnitine 100mg
L-Carnosine 20mg
R-Alpha Lipoic Acid 5mg

And then our proprietary Memoplex blend contains 460mg of all the other ingredients. I don't want to get into the specific amounts of the other ingredients, but I will say that we did our best to have safe and effective amounts of each ingredient in the Memoplex blend, and that you don't need to supplement your diet with more of the ingredients that are already found in BrainAlert.

I know that piracetam and picamillon are legal in the U.S. (I've bought and used them myself), but I didn't want to risk any future legal problems by having those substances in our product - that and I feel that our product didn't really needed them anyway.

Do you think that we should have a second version of the original but with caffeine added?

Currently it is choline bitartrate, but I want to put CDP choline in the next formulation of the product.

Thank you for that information. However, without knowing the dose of key ingredients, like Bacopa the product is hard to evaluate. I don't buy supplements for which I do not know all the doses for the ingredients because I feel I may be getting ripped off.

I concur. As you know, most people on this board are concerned about the exacting amounts of the ingredients in their products, me included. It could conflict with other supplements, may not be enough, etc. It's important to know.
