some people combine it with rhodiola for even more of a mood boost.

Why not just use unsweetned cocoa + pinch sweetner of choice (I use stevia).

if you dont wanna do that, just try hot water and 1g of chocamine. imo it tastes great by itself, but you could always add stevia if you dont like it.

its good stuff. taking 1-1.5g is a great energy boost and anxiolytic at the same time.

IME, I get zero benefit from chocomine, even at 5g doses. YMMV.

I have tried a similar solution, it is call Xocai, pure raw chocolate, sweetened with agave plant honey and cicay berries from brazil, I like the effect it keeps me awake, clear mind and energetic for about 3 to 5 hours, that is by drinking about one spoon full upon waking up, after the effects goes away, I "crash", I have not had the chance to follow the proper dosage, the suggested usage is 1 oz, 3 to 4 times a day.
i took a look at that stuff, its like 35$ for 25oz, which is REALLY expensive... + its got splenda in it :/

i think if chocolate WAS neurotoxic, about half of the female population in this country would be dead.
i found a place to get chocamine w/ caffeine:

this has been discussed before in sci.life-extension:

One particularly interesting response

I think researchers do like to make things more complicated than they are
(they just don't deal with simple things, that's why). It's very hard to
overlook the most obvious connection between chocolate, cheese, wine etc.
and PD - the dopamine metabolic pathway. These foods potently increase
dopamine levels. The dopamine metabolic pathway in PD contributes to the
spoilage of DA neurons. Increasing dopamine metabolism in PD equals faster
neuronal death.
The same parkinson's-trigger label has been placed on aspartam (nutrasweet).
A simple case here, too: from aspartam we get PA, from PA we get DA. As
aspartam increases dopamine metabolism, it also contributes to PD (in case
you have it). But that doesn't mean it causes it.
PD causes itself. There is no risk of getting it. People don't get PD, they
are born with it. Healthy individuals can aquire PD-like symptoms and
neuronal damage by exposure to certain toxic substances (some heavy metals,
drugs, chemicals etc.). But even if they try hard, they won't get it just
from eating candy bars. The only RISK for them is that they have yet
undiagnosed PD (which is the case for about 99.99% PD-patients before they
develop parkinsonian symptoms - and that occures at a very late stage of the
disease).
Conclusion: chocolate causes physicians to diagnose PD more accurately,
because patient's hands become shaking earlier in chocolate eaters than in
chocolate abstinents.
[PD=Parkinson's Disease, DA=dopamine, PA=phenylalanine]
P.S. I think it's a bit dissapointing that eating IQs doesn't cause IQ to
rise ;-) I bet they hoped it would...
Bye,
