I had taken piracetam for about three months to great benefit:
- improved memory
- better social skills/wit
- more energy
- more focus

Eventually I correlated it to alot of twitching I was having in my eyelids, jaw, thigh muscles, etc. It also seemed to cumulatively cause some neuropathy. I tried choline and it had no benefit for these symptoms. A retrial caused a return after cessation.

What other compounds are there that are generally available that are different enough from piracetam to avoid those same side effects yet also produce the same benefits?

I assume most of the racetams and noopept would cause similar issues, but maybe I am wrong. I have tried some in the past but not since the bad reaction from pira.
