I'm making two batches of capsules, one containing Centrophenoxine, Idebenone and Vinpocetine, and another containing ALCAR, Piracetam and Pyritinol, and was wondering if using Spirulina and/or Psyllium Husk Fiber would be ok (i.e. will not react chemically and degrade any of the nootropic components listed above). My glutamine expired in January of 2005 (oopsy...), and those are the only things I have left besides protein powder and Splenda packets. Also, what else do you guys use as fillers?

Thanks!

Hrm... well, I don't have any maltodextrin handy, so I just went ahead and used the fiber powder. I'd rather stay away from maltodextrin or any type of carbs as filler (I was considering using brown sugar, since all I needed was 2 tsps as filler, but it's so clumpy...). Thanks ajnast4r.

makes me thinking about a capsule filler.

Is cap em quick a reasonable tool?

What do you use?

Zevogaz-

My recommendation is the Capsule Machine. With the Cap 'Em Quick, you have to manually apply the capsule tops to each individual capsule, and a tamper is extra. The Capsule Machine comes with a tamper and there are separate plates for the tops and bottoms of capsules, so when you're done filling and tamping, you just slide the top plate over the bottom plate and voila, all the capsules are closed immediately. Saves a lot of time.

Sort of a related question ---

I like the idea of being able to produce my own "proprietary blend" and I also like the idea of being able to use different colored capsules.

Is there a place on this board (or the Internet) that I can get these questions answered quickly (not a lot of digging)...

1. Who has the best (meaning purest, most reliable, COA'd) bulk powders?
2. A list of what can be combined with what.

How do you get the right quantities together?

I also like the idea of being able to use different colored capsules.

Where can you get relatively small quantities?

What does the capsule machine cost? I would suggest inositol as a filler. It does you some good unlike sugar. I would suggest bulk nutrition for bulk powders.

Hi

Capsule size "0" can hold approximately 500 mg?

You always just fill one half of a capsule, that is you need

24(number of capsules) x 250 mg = 6g for one time filling with this machine for

example.

OK?
