RAINBOW BRIDGES

Before us is nothing, future past
One’s presence only reaches just so far, so fast
Eager limbs are how we stretch our mind’s grasp
We become every moment
Very much more than we were
To be, or not be, to be we are
But first, we must last.
Ephemeral and dubious define who I am
Numinous, resplendent, unlikely and classed
For every moment I be we all can be damned
Yet every moment also chance vast and grand
This existence's essences nothing less
Than the choices we make that worsen or best
The Universe laughing in and at our cosmic jest
Making us see all rapidly burning to nothing
All fiery ice
Just turning, and spiraling
Spinning some things to nothingness
Nanothing nothings and non sensory nonsense
Star dust and water mixed with sound and light
Aires daring to be aware inhabiting starlit seas
Amid flotsam and jetsam
Around whirl pooling Black Holes
Define for your self not me,
Just Who and What are We?
What can be said we know…
Storm tossed seaweed, star cores, and galaxies
Every eon and second
Exactly the same?
Precisely one live long line
Of relative twisting, tangled webbed tapestries
Comprised of and in space-time?
All is, yet isn’t, the risk is too real
Same is, same isn’t,
All say the same different
Ask any child and see
To look for truth in time, they always find
In no cosmic cloud less wonder than slime
Dance Mankind Child
Come find your way
Look and wander the Rainbow’s sublime climb
Put your brains to work create your mind
