I've been looking for an inexpensive topical carnosine for the skin and have come across best alistine and Geronova Rejuv cream. Does anybody know which is better or of another product? thanks

Someone recommended topical carnosine for the skin for anti-aging effects... thought I'd look into it.

a bit off, how is carnosine comparable to topical (in high concentrations each:) retinyl palmitate, tretinoin, copper peptides, hyaluronic acid, fulvic acid, trichloroacetic acid, alpha and beta hydroxies - lactic, glycolic combined?

I made a mixture with alpha lipoic acid and DMSO, didnt like the way it orked, so I try other things, found out that any skin irritation woul be augmented when using ALA in conjunction with some thing else, the best mix I use was plain natural yogurth and ALA, it allows for a gradual absortion in the skin for ALA, while at the same time hydrates the skin, I used it for about a week the skin loked very hidrated and fresh (visibly) and the texture much softer and supple.

I did notice that it also made a difference the PH of my skin, which most often that not is acidic, I guess due to everyday pollution.
