Edit: generic category is proteolytic enzymes. No experience with wobenzyme.
Re: enzymes to decrease inflammation: The science says (last I've checked) that the stuff can't work, because it can't be absorbed intact into the system. The reality is I've recommended something like it for decades in a post op regimen (and for e.g. tendonitis, fractures, after having teeth pulled, etc) and people heal dramatically faster--fast enough that their docs ask what they did. Does not treat why the inflammation is present. There might be some studies on e.g. athletes showing less bruising after using some proteolytic.
The current proteolytic enzymes I use are by enzymatica (no commercial interest) and the doses I use are much higher than label, but verified by discussions with the company. Doses came from what was recommended by a prior company.
No experience/knowledge with using these for other uses e.g. cancer.
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice they are not.
Also great for healing is gotu kola (for which I think there is some evidence)

It all sounds good, based on science and years of use. I bought some a bottle of 800 pills a couple years ago. Aside from having to take a ridiculous number of the little things three at a time, 45 minutes before meals, twice a day (difficult at best), I can't tell that it does anything. But what do I know?
Would you like, I don't know, maybe 500 or so of them real cheap?

Sorry, I guessed that since it was discussing a supplement it would go there.
