Dear people.

I am having a burn-out. This was build up during the many years I have worked under stress and anxiety. I have done a LOT to get to this point. My burn-out didn't came overnight, it slowly developed during the years to a point I could no longer function. All that was left of me was a terrible feeling, waves of stress, anxiety and a overhyped brain during the day. Tress hormones are/where fired off in my body in a random pattern, even when there is/was no stressful situation. Tired feeling, exhaustion, low energy level. My brain has become very sensitive for stuff like scrolling on an iphone/computer, reading, different tasks that needs to be done quickly and so on, this gives me a bad mental feeling and tires me a lot. It's like an overdosis, stuff gets overhyped in my head, hard to describe. It can make my head feel like it’s on water as well, dizziness. Bad memory, a bit confused sometimes. One lucky thing is that I am not depressed. But feeling miserable doesn't make me a happy man either. For this reason I stopped working about 6 months ago and I collapsed, it was like all the crap came out. We moved to an environment now with a lot of nature and taking things very easy. After many months I am now slowly recovering, with many ups and downs(!), and I wonder what I could do with supplements to help recover and support my brain. I am still experiencing tiredness, low energy and the sensitive brain issues. I swim 2 times a week as I know that is good for BDNF. I also try to eat as healthy as possible, with very little sugar intake and lots of vegetables and fruit, nuts and seeds. I already take the following supplements daily: fish oil (2 caps), magnesium citrate 150mg (2 caps), vitamin D 1000 IU (1 cap), B12 1000 mcg (1 pill), and also cranberry pills and at the moment saw palmetto (prostate and urinal health). While the later two have little to do with brain health I think, I still mention them as I don’t know if something might conflict with any additional advice.

Anyhow I was looking into Curcumin intake as well, and especially this product as it seems to have higher absorption: https://nl.iherb.com...ggie-Caps/57292 Is this a good addition?

I wonder if there is anything more I could/should add, or perhaps remove from my daily intake?

Many thanks!

I'd consider supplements that could support mitochondrial health and energy production as they are speculated to possibly combat chronic fatigue syndrome. A few to read about might be R-alpha lipoic acid, ubiquinol (the reduced form of CoQ10), acetyl l carnitine, nicotinamide riboside, green tea extract (for a gentle stimulating boost from the caffeine plus a SIRT boost from natural compounds), or maybe even mito-Q.

Honokiol before sleeping perhaps, allround supplement but due to its unique, non addictive, gaba effects also anti anxiety.
