I would try and participate. No promises as it would depend on competing events and distance but I would try hard to set aside the time.

This past year, I plotted to:
a) Eminent domain the New Hampshire estates of US Supreme Court Justices Souter and Breyer, to force the GOP and Dems to support a state constitutional amendment restricting eminent domain, and make a statement against the absurd Kelo v New London decision of said justices.
b) Got a bill passed in NH legislature to support and assist Killington Vt in its quest to secede from its state and rejoin New Hampshire.
c) Killed bills mandating seat belt usage in cars and banning smoking in restaurants.
d) Got a bill passed loosening up homeschooling regs.
e) Stalled compliance with REAL ID in my state.
f) Passed a bill that banned seizure of guns during states of emergency.

We have over 400 fellow conspirators in-state now, and 7200 on the way, and we need you, too. Particularly those of you in Massachusetts, given its recent passage of a law mandating everyone have health insurance (to match its law mandating everyone have car insurance), it seems to me that those of you who still value liberty should be beating it for the border to the north.

NH: no income tax, no sales tax, the lowest state and local tax burden in the entire US. No seat belt law for adults, no anti-smoking regs, some of the freest gun laws in the country, no mandatory health or car insurance (we have the lowest crime rates and rates of accidents AND insurance fraud). Among the best homeschooling laws, one of the best trust laws, among many other great things for transhumanists. Lots of high tech business: we've got nanotech, biotech, IT, you name it. British Aerospace has a number of facilities, and AutoCAD, Vicinity, Fluent, TeleAtlas, are just a few of the many software companies here.

New Hampshire IS truly THE Free State.

Boott Cotton Mills complex at Lowell, Massachusetts was typical of what some call a "cathedral of industry" where people from all over the world toiled for the single purpose of mass-producing a consumer product: textiles. In essence, the Industrial Revolution's transformation of America from an agrarian-based society to an industrial society can be seen through the physical development of the Boott Cotton Mills from 1835 through the early 20th century.

There is a nice party/meeting room that I can reserve here at Boott Mills in case Lowell is decided to be the 'Meeting' place.
We could start with some drinks (including some 9.5-ph water) and then plan the secession of NH from US to make it a country for the immortalists/singularitarians/transhumans/etc.

On the way back I stopped in Manchester to eat and check out the mall

Anyone with info on the job market in the Boston area? - I heard the jobs where going south or into N.H
I can't keep living in Stamford...Cost of Living is too high, people are extremely pretentious and theres nothing to do

The closest to where I live, from this group, seem to be karomesis.
Pepperell-Lowell is about 20 min drive.
Karomesis if you like to, we can meet biweekly or monthly for a social drink exchanging ideas and/or gossiping [lol] (I am not good at it) about other members of this forum. Maybe after a while other members that live close or far away will join if we set some meeting schedule. We can have the first time meeting somewhere in Nashua since it's midway.
