Ok, I know this is quite risky, so I thought I'd ask you how we would mitigate the risks given there are some truly crazy people who are willing to play the human lab rat?

Any general or specific recommendations on how to decrease the cancer risk when extended to a human subject would be welcome.

They need to demonstrate lifespan extension in wild type mice first. I agree, this has a great deal of potential, but you'd be nuts to apply this to yourself before you could work out a safe protocol.
