I've heard a number of people here say that they consume some mixed nuts as a snack. I have a few questions regarding this:

#1 - What types of nuts are the healthiest to consume? I thinking yes to almonds, macadamia nuts, etc. and no to peanuts (aflatoxins, etc.). What are other good ones to include or avoid? Also, I'm assuming that raw is best here?

#2 - Where do you buy your nuts? Locally? Online?

#3 - How do you store your nuts? I've heard of some people putting them in the fridge or even the freezer to prevent the oils in the nuts from going rancid. Is this excessive or is there a real concern that leaving them at room temperature could cause problems?
