Is fresh fruit better for you because more nutrients are preserved? I know lot's of the nutrients are lost during shipping for "fresh" fruit. Which is more beneficial?

My take on this paper: Fresh is better, but not that much better. Compared to fresh, frozen berries had 17% less anthocyanins, comparable levels of total flavanols, and 11% reduced ORAC value. Considering the difference in price and convenience, I'm going to continue to use frozen blueberries. There will be a modest loss. it isn't known whether or not fresh fruit is good for you because every study that examines the benefit uses frozen fruit
Haha, that is a very interesting point. I continue to buy my vegetables and fruits frozen, its CHEAP.
